Saturday, September 10, 2005 FRIDAY::SEPTEMBER 2 I went on a double date with Tiff. We went to the Boomers in Upland. The first thing we did when we got there was go to the batting cages =). Only Tiff and I batted, the boys just took pictures hehe. It was so much fun! After batting, we went to play in the arcade. After playing games, we went to play cosmic mini golf. I made a few hole in ones… but overall, Chris kicked my ass. After mini golfing, we decided to split for lunch. Chris and I ended up eating at subway…then after eating, we decided to stop by DBHS to visit some teachers =). A little while later, we went to mall to watch Underclassman. After the movie we went to go eat Japanese food. That was pretty much it. It was a pretty good day but it seemed more like 2 single dates rather than a double date. MONDAY::SEPTEMBER 5 Since my mom didn’t have to work that day, I went with her and her friends to go “hiking”. We drove to Pasadena and hiked like a mile. Yeah that was pretty much all I did that day I think. TUESDAY::SEPTEMBER 6 Helen, Sharon, Tiff and I were suppose to have a pot luck at my house. But since Helen and Sharon couldn’t make it, Tiff and I just went to Brea mall. Shopping is always fun =). WEDNESDAY::SEPTEMBER 7 I spent most of the day hanging out with Chris =). Around 1ish we went to eat Japanese food again….then we went back to visit DBHS again. THURSDAY::SEPTEMBER 8 Tiff and I decided to give double dating another try. We met at Rubios for lunch. Paul and John came during their lunch break so we all got to sit and chat for a little bit. After lunch tiff, chris, chris, and I headed over to Lazerstar cause we wanted to play lazer tag. When we got there it was like 1ish..and the place didn’t open till 3…so we headed over to chris yuan’s friends house to water his plants. After the plants were watered, we went over to Ralphs I think it was to just hang out a bit. When 3 o’clock came around, we headed back to lazerstar. We played a few games before we played lazer tag. Lazer tagging was so much fun =). See every game is only 2 rounds…..and for the 2 rounds, I kept getting the lowest score…and like I had no idea why… I kept thinking “gosh my shooting cant possibly be that bad”… I was kinda bummed but I blew it off cause it was no big deal. But anyway, chris and I won the first round…..and then chris yuan and tiffany won the second round. After like 20 mins, we decided to play one more round of lazer tagging. Chris and I won the first round again…and like rite at the end of round 1, I finally figured out that you can shoot the opposite team’s base to get points…. This new discovery made a DRAMATIC change in my score. I went from like 1000 to 8000 points hehe. So after we got tired of playing games, we headed over to this place (forgot wat it was called) to get something to eat and drink. We played cards while we ate. Playing black jack was hilarious. Chris Yuan played the dealer….and we were betting our jewelry. It was fun =D. FRIDAY::SEPTEMBER 9 My friend that I met at Harvard (alex yen) was staying in LA for a few days so we chose to hang out on Friday. He was brought his other friend Emily to hang out with us. I picked them up in San Gabriel. The drive there was painful. I got lost and it was so hard finding my way to where he was. After I finally picked up them, I drove them to Brea Mall, then to Speedzone, then to Target, then to Krispy Kream Doughnuts, then to my dads restaurant, and then finally to Life Plaza. After going to all those places, I took them home and headed back. There was SOO much traffic on the 10 East. When I got home, I got ready really quickly cause chris had to pick me up around 6:30pm so we could eat and then join Paul, John, and Christine to watch the Exorcism of Emily Rose. Chris and I ate at my dads restaurant..and then we rushed over to AMC. Paul, John, and Christine saved us a seat…we all sat in the VERY FRONT ROW. Haha omg I’ve never had to do that before….but the theater was just packed. The movie was freakin scary…… everyone had like jackets covering their eyes… I missed so many of the scary parts so it wasn’t TOO bad for me. I was pretty scared when I went to bed that night though. I kept wondering if anything would happen at 3am (for those who didn’t watch the movie yet, you probably have no idea what im talking about). TODAY Chris, John, and I went to play pool. Each of us had our fair share of good and bad games. Overall it was pretty fun. After playing pool, Chris and I hung out at the 99 cent store next door. We started acting immature and began running around chasing and hiding from each other. I think a lot of shoppers started looking at us funny. But it was so much fun =). It was like being a little kid again. `* annie posted at 11:23 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2005 Tuesday::August 30 Tiff and I had planned to go out around 12. But she had to stay home to wait for a package so instead, I went to her house. When I got there, she finally gave me the birthday gift she and grace had bought me. They bought me clothes! I got a pink shirt from Abercrombie and a white sparkly tank top from Express. A girl can never have too much clothes =). So anyway, we decided to bake these chocolate thingys with ice cream. Since we're lazy, we decided to just buy the ice cream instead of making it, so we'd only have to make the chocolate shell. We drove down to the local Vons and bought the chocolate chips. We also rented The Ring Two and Season 4 of Sex and the City. After we got back we started baking rite away. The first instruction was to "melt the chocolate". So we put the chocolate chips in a pot. It kinda started melting...but then it got all black and chuncky. So we thought we were so smart..and stuck the chocolate in the microwave. After a few minutes, it still didnt really melt. It just kept getting darker and chunkier. So we stuck the chocolate back into a pot. After another few minutes, we realized that we had seriously burnt the chocolate. So we had to throow it away and start over. The second round turn out okay =). Ugh, not only did we burn the chocolate the first time arouond, but we also over popped the pop-corn. Hehe our baking was a semi-disaster but it was fun =). After making our food, we started watching The Ring Two. Since we're both incredibly chicken....and we have our eyes closed 98% of the time...we didnt see much of the movie. every time a scary part came on, we'd be like "did you see what happened?"..."no! did you??"...."no!"..."did she pop out?"..."i dunno...maybe"... hehehe. after the movie, her dad came home so we went to The Block. We shopped for a few hours and ate dinner at a japanese restaurant. We got hit on by this black guy and his friend. That was awakward...they werent cute at all so it wasnt that flattering. But yeah it was a fun day =)! Wednesday::August 31 Helen, Shawna, and I went to Downtown LA/Fashion District. We walked SOOOO MUCH. OMG i thought my legs were gonna fall off. Shopping there was too much like shopping in taiwan..like inside on shop, there'd be so much stuff on the walls that it'd be overwhelming. Plus you couldnt try on the clothes. So yeah we spent like 5 hours there and i didnt buy n e thing =(.
